What you will need?

  • Any fabric.
  • Embroidery hoop, 15cm (6″) (Bigger if you are working on a larger design) ( You can purchase a set of 6 hoops from Amazon for your basic needs.)
  • Tapestry needle
  • Embroidery thread (You can buy this pack of 36 shades of the DMC embroidery floss.)

How many strands of floss do you need for making this pattern

I have used 6 strands for some of the stitches and 1 strand for the perle cotton floss. I’ll explain in the tutorial below about it.

How to work this Embroider Along With Me Pattern

working on the stitch

1. Start by working the border with stem stitch. I have used 1 strand of Perle cotton floss for this.

2. Next, work on the inside border with chain stitch. I have used 3 strands of normal embroidery floss for this stitch.

3. Make straight stitches for the stems and branches. Finish it off with the french knots. I have used all 6 strands of floss for both the stitches.
