I love this flower. More so because this the first project that I am doing on this blog. This design calls for the french knot and satin stitch.
It is pretty easy to do and the stitches aren’t so difficult to do. All you need is some patience with the french knots. Once that is done, then it is simply a breeze to work rest of the flower.
Trace any type of flower onto your fabric and simply start your work.
Yes, my design is different than this trace. I didn’t like the end result and ended up removing all the stitches and beginning again.
Start by french knots along the border of the semi-circle.
Fill it with french knots. Yes, this is a pretty time-consuming process.
Start with the satin stitch on petals. Fill in the middle of the petal with satin stitch or long and short stitch. That’s it, your amazing flower is ready.
So until next time,
Keep Stitching,
Fareeha
