Pretty Flowers Pattern – Embroider With Me Series 9

September 20, 2019 By fasembroidery Leave a Comment

Aren’t these flowers really so pretty? I have totally fallen in love with them. The color combination is so pretty that I could totally work it into any kind of clothing. I have used satin stitch, back stitch and french knots in this design. Simple pattern, simple stitches, and the end result is so pretty. Do try and let me know how you enjoyed it.

What you will need?

  • Any fabric.
  • Embroidery hoop, 15cm (6″) (Bigger if you are working on a larger design) ( You can purchase a set of 6 hoops from Amazon for your basic needs.)
  • Tapestry needle
  • Embroidery thread (You can buy this pack of 36 shades of the DMC embroidery floss.)

How many strands of floss do you need for making this pattern

I have used 6 strands for some of the stitches and 1 strand for the perle cotton floss. I’ll explain in the tutorial below about it.

How to work this Embroider Along With Me Pattern

embroidery stitches

1. Start by working the flowers with satin stitch. You can also make the leaves with the same stitch. I have used 6 strands for these.

2. Next, work on the stems with back stitch. I have used a single strand of floss with the Perle cotton thread. And finally, finish it off with french knots.
